Student Lounge Entrance

Welcome to all our new students!

The WDNLC Student Lounge is your entrance into the world of website design. Being a student with the WebDesignNewbie Learning Center you have all the knowledge, resources and tools at your finger tips that you will ever need to create and maintain your own website.

Where to Start?

The best place to start is by building up your basic knowledge. You can do this by starting with the Web Design Basics Course found within the course index.

From there follow through the courses in sequence.

You can refer back to or continue with any lesson at any time. WebDesignNewbie is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

The WDN Community Forums

All students, upon registering, are also registered for the community forums. These forums can be accessed through Student Center at any time, or through its direct link located here.

http://webdesignnewbie.com/community/

Within the WDN Community Forums you will find other students, such as yourself, along with the WDN staff and other professionals within the Web Design and Development industry that are ready and willing to help you at any time.

Remember: The only stupid question is the one you do not ask. So ask away!

Student Lounge Rooms

There are three (3) different doors leading off from the Student Lounge to different rooms. Use the Student Lounge Menu located at the top of the page under the WDN logo to access each of these rooms, shown below.

Below is a list of each room and what you can expect to find within the room:

The Student Center gives you access to all the available student services such as our community forums, seminars, proofreading services and more. You will also gain access to your StudentNEWS, where you will be kept up-to-date on news and events that are available only to registered students, such as yourself.

The Classroom is where you will find the course index and access all the available courses in both written and video/audio format.

The Student Library provides you with articles and resources (also accessible by the public), and a variety of products, such as software, graphics, scripts, etc., that will help you increase your website design knowledge and assist you in creating and maintaining your very own website.

You will also find non-web design related products that are available for both a student discounted one time fee and/or at no cost. These products can be used for your own personal use, and/or can be re-sold on your own website. (Be sure to read the terms of the product before you purchase.) These same products can be found within our WDN Store at their regular price. The Official WDN Store

The WDN Store offers novality items incrested with the WebDesignNewbie logo, such as mousepads, t-shirts, sweater, mugs and more. You will also find books and other products. (Opening March 1, 2008)
