You read right! It is 7 days until I open the doors to the new DesignNewbie Article Directory and Resource Directory.

Things are coming along as far as getting them ready. I’ve added the new template to each script, and updated the main pages of the site to the new template also - the main pages are available for all to see. My next step with the directories is to get the backend set up and then start adding content. I’m not too worried about the content as I’ll be adding more as time goes by.

Color… a topic that can be talked about until the cows come home. Color means different things to different people, and when you’re designing a website this is utmost important to take into consideration.

Do you know what your target market preferences for color are? Do you know which colors work well with the niche that you want to concur?

If you can’t answer these two questions, then you are in definite need of doing some more research within your target and niche market.

All the main pages, as you might have noticed are now online. In fact, they’ve been online for the last week or so. It is my hope to have the article directory and resource directory both using the new layout design, and that I’ll start to populate them by the end of next week.
