This week I would like to share with you an article I came across on SitePoint by Jason Beaird on “The Principles of Beautiful Typography”. He offers some great insight and food for thought on using typography (fonts) to help your communication in this ever changing online world.

He says… “Let’s face it: the core purpose of all web design is communication. Whether we’re talking about an online ecommerce store, a web presence for a Fortune 500 company, or a profile for a social networking site, typography is a vital component. For most people, typography is simply about arranging a familiar set of shapes to make words, sentences, and paragraphs. Having the ability to set type with only a few strokes on a keyboard has allowed us to forget about the creative and artistic possibilities of this medium…”

Danny Sullivan at Search Engine Watch wrote a great article on creating your own RSS feed for your website. Even if you don’t want to create your own RSS feed, this article is still a great read for those wanting to know more about RSS and how it works.

“RSS is a method of distributing links to content in your web site that you’d like others to use. In other words, it’s a mechanism to “syndicate” your content.
